Volunteer Opportunities:

Advisory Board Volunteers

Have a voice at the museum, join our advisory board! Our Advisory Board meets in person once a month and supports the ongoing growth of Exploration Summit. Members are asked to join a subcommittee based on their skills, interests, or experience.

Advisory Board volunteers may help:

• Raise awareness and funds for Exploration Summit

• Share and create social media content

• Recruit volunteers, sponsors, members, and supporters

• Help sell merchandise and memberships

• Contribute to museum and exhibit designs

• Volunteer at community events

• Contribute ideas, connections, and professional expertise

This opportunity is best for people who can make a consistent commitment and want to play an active role in helping establish Exploration Summit.

Event Volunteers

Event volunteers help Exploration Summit connect with the community at special events, outreach programs, and fundraising activities.

Volunteers may assist with:

• Handing out flyers and information

• Welcoming guests and answering basic questions

• Helping with hands-on demonstrations

• Selling merchandise and memberships

• Setting up, cleaning up, and supporting event activities

Event volunteers will be required to attend an orientation before participating.

Your Contribution Matters

Some volunteers may have several hours to give each week, while others may be able to help with a specific project, event, or area of expertise. What matters most is a willingness to participate consistently and follow through on the commitments you make.

Building Exploration Summit will take a community. When people come together with a shared vision, small actions can grow into something that changes a city for generations.
